In this episode, titled “Conscious Consumer – Take Back Your Power”, we discuss some of the things we can do to motivate change.
How we spend our money determines which products and services corporations focus their energy on. For example, consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the detrimental health consequences of genetically modified ingredients, corn syrup, and non-organic foodstuffs.
In order to avoid a potential impact on their bottom line, corporations have begun to offer healthier alternatives on their product lines to offset some of the loses associated with a decline in interest of those products with ingredients that are known to ultimately cause severe health complications such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and the severe ill effects of glyphosate poisoning.
Awareness of the consequences to unhealthy food, and an application of conscious consumerism, has indeed affected change across these mega-corporations in the food industry.
This methodology can be applied in other fields and industries in a like way, including medical services.
While we are seemingly powerless, that is an illusion brought forth from our conditioning since birth and indoctrination through anything from belief systems to education systems which seek to establish an ingrained subconscious victim mentality.
When you are a victim, you are actively seeking an authority figure to save you or to make recommendations on your behalf that you believe will be in your best interest.
When you have sufficient awareness of these things, coupled with a determination to educate yourself and others on these subjects, you come into a state of power that can be leveraged to effect change on a global scale.
