I can remember a time when the left-wing represented freedom of speech and tolerance for different perspectives. Likewise, I can remember a time when the right-wing represented personal liberty and economic conservatism. Now, these two factions have evolved to represent the exact opposite of what they used to stand for.
History has always been a hobby of mine and when I was younger, I noticed the trend that the political parties would often flip on the issues that they were purported to represent. At that time, however, I also believed that a political party truly represented the interests of the people within their particular demographic. I was ignorant as to the true nature of the political party and equally ignorant as to the purpose for the manufactured political divide. Back then, I was a patriot to the system at large.
One party always appears to steamroll over the other party. There is minimal resistance from the other side. Right now, it seems as if the Democratic party in the United States has all of the power. The members of the Republican party talk a big game but quite literally do absolutely nothing. This is interesting to consider as the Republican party has the majority in the Senate, yet we continue to plow headfirst into a tyrannical form of government. There is nary any pushback from the party that is supposed to be the party of personal liberty and small government.
Empty-suit senators such as Ted Cruz from Texas appear to be more fixated on promoting the interests of Israel via legislation than attempting to reign in the abuse of power running rampant in his home state. Clearly, he holds the interests of his masters close to his heart, and his masters are certainly not the people of Texas. Senators like Ted Cruz and local government officials absolve themselves of any and all responsibility perpetually, as we citizens continue to go faster down the drain.
Who is to answer for the shutdown that destroyed the lives of many and crushed small businesses? Why wasn’t there any forethought given with the intention of securing the financial interests of those who would be the most impacted by a constitutionally illegal shutdown? Certainly not your senators and congressmen, for they continue to act unilaterally against the interests of the citizen.
Small businesses in Houston have been crushed by the economic devastation wrought by the shutdown that was imposed by those in power. The majority of those behind the shutdown, so far as Houston is concerned, are affiliated with the Democrat party. Judges like Lina Hidalgo and Mayor Sylvester Turner issued tyrannical edicts that are unfathomably destructive to lower-income families, and those are the same families whose interests these politicians claim to represent. If you try to point this out or otherwise criticize these two individuals, you are hysterically accused of racism. This is a well-established manipulative psychological tactic to silence debate by putting the falsely accused on the defensive.
I have never, in my life, seen such hysteria before, and this hysteria is unequivocally coming from the political left. The imbalance is that, where there is unchecked outrageousness coming from that direction, there is literally stagnation and a cadaverous pallor emanating from the political right. Your two choices are thus: fascistic hysteria or politics in the form of a rotting corpse. I may be putting myself on a limb here, but I am willing to bet the fascistic hysteria wins this round, and this is obviously part of the plan.
Notice this: both parties were for these lockdowns. Both parties are for these tyrannical mask mandates. Both parties push foreign agendas, especially with regards to Israel, over the interests of their own people. Both parties continue to pass bi-partisan legislation, and it is both parties who can’t seem to figure out who should benefit from future legislation. Both parties cannot seem to figure anything out and half of the time members of these two political parties cannot even deliver a coherent public speech. They have both failed miserably at even the most rudimentary and simplistic methods of governance. The left-right paradigm is very much a false paradigm.
And what does all of this have to say about all of us? After all, we apparently put these people there. We gave them full measure over us. We fell for their rhetoric, and we continue to eat their endless supply of utter tosh. We do nothing while our freedoms and now even our ability to support our family evaporates before our very own eyes.
What do we even stand for anymore? Some call themselves patriots but what does that even mean? Is it a commitment to a national ideal that hasn’t been around since the international bankers hijacked this country? What is the point? It seems reasonable to suggest that living in a non-existent past will not serve me in the present, and so I often question the purpose of patriotism. I can appreciate a love and respect for the nation as it once was, but that is not the reality anymore. How does one celebrate freedom while being told that they have to do so while wearing a mandatory mask, lest they be fined or imprisoned? After all, it used to be considered patriotic in England to scream “God save the King” while the people suffered.
Is it truly patriotism to allow tyrants like judge Lina Hidalgo, Mayor Sylvester Turner, and Governor Greg Abbott to continually destroy our lives in Houston, Texas and take away our freedoms? Are we patriots for allowing Ted Cruz and Nancy Pelosi to lie to us every day and engage themselves in perpetuating destructive policies across the entire nation?
If you were to ask me, the real patriots are those intent on destroying tyranny wherever it exists, not those who kowtow to an establishment hellbent on perpetuating the status quo and dedicated to the eradication of personal liberty. Unfortunately, those truly deservedly of the title patriot have not been seen in the United States since 1776.
Politics is elaborate theater. Always has been for as long as I remember. The Democrats think melodrama will keep their audience’s attention, while the Republicans should fire their script writers.
It has gone into overdrive lately. Today has been a tough day – one of those days where I am like “what’s the point!” … I try to get as much truth out as I can and it is just buried by an unstoppable tidal wave of mainstream media fake news.
